Happy Thanksgiving!

The holidays are going to be a little extra meaningful for me this year.  I truly have so much to be grateful for.  This is the fourth month I’ve been in remission and I’m feeling better all the time.  I’ve finished all my chemotherapy and all those dangerous drugs should be completely flushed out of my system in a few months.  I’m looking forward to going back to work full time in the near future, and getting a new health insurance plan.  I’m even planning to go home for Christmas with my beautiful fiance and our adventure dog, Gromit.  It’s been a long, strange, terrifying, exciting year, but I really feel like everything is going to work out in the end.  I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and a lot to be thankful for.  I know I do.

Beautifully written. We, too, are grateful for your improving health, and also for Sayer! Takes a crisis sometimes to remind us of what we have to be grateful for. But didn’t you forget to mention something important?

I’m just hoping to be “healed” from this damn pneumonia for Thanksgiving. However: Happy Thanksgiving to you two love-birds!
